Last updated 12 July 2026 · Maintained by the Crive team.

This page is provided as general information about how Crive operates and is not a substitute for legal advice. If you have specific legal questions, please consult a qualified professional.

1. Verification

Complete identity, phone, email and address verification before listing. Dealerships must additionally provide business registration and VAT details where applicable.

2. Accurate listings

  • Use clear photos of the actual vehicle (no stock images).
  • Provide correct make, model, year, mileage, VIN and specification.
  • Disclose service history, known defects and any prior damage.
  • Set a realistic reserve and starting price.

3. Title and encumbrances

You must hold clear title to the vehicle and disclose any outstanding finance or lien. Selling stolen or encumbered vehicles is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.

4. Communication

Respond to questions and offers in a timely, professional manner. Do not attempt to move transactions off-platform.

5. Fulfilment

  • Complete the sale with the winning bidder within 7 days of auction end.
  • Provide all necessary paperwork for registration and transfer.
  • Do not cancel a sale to accept a higher off-platform offer.

6. Enforcement

Breaches may result in warnings, listing removal, temporary suspension, account bans and reversal of payouts, in addition to any legal remedies available.
