1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, role, avatar.
- Verification data: ID document, selfie, proof of address, date of birth (sellers only).
- Listing & bidding data: vehicles, images, bids, messages, reviews.
- Payment data: processed by our payment partner; we store only tokens and last-four digits.
- Technical data: IP address, device information, cookies, page views.
2. How we use your data
- To operate accounts, listings, auctions, messaging and payments.
- To verify identity and prevent fraud.
- To send transactional emails and push notifications you have opted into.
- To measure and improve the Platform.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases
We process personal data on the bases of contract performance, legitimate interest (security and product improvement), consent (marketing and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (record keeping).
4. Sharing
We share data with processors who help us operate Crive (hosting, email, payments, analytics) under written contracts. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and dispute-resolution purposes. Verification documents are retained only as required by applicable AML/KYC rules.
6. Your rights
Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Contact privacy@crive.app.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, row-level security in our database and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected issues to security@crive.app.
8. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Children
Crive is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
