Refund Policy

When and how refunds are issued for platform fees, deposits and vehicle purchases on Crive.

Last updated 12 July 2026 · Maintained by the Crive team.

This page is provided as general information about how Crive operates and is not a substitute for legal advice. If you have specific legal questions, please consult a qualified professional.

1. Platform fees

Listing, success and subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the related service has been provided (e.g. once your auction has gone live). Errors or duplicate charges will be refunded on request.

2. Bid deposits

  • Refunded automatically when you are outbid or the auction ends without a win.
  • Applied to the final payment if you win.
  • Retained if you win and fail to pay or complete the purchase.

3. Vehicle purchases

Because contracts of sale are formed between buyer and seller, refunds on the purchase price are handled under the Buyer Protection process. Where a claim is upheld:

  • Full refund if the vehicle is materially not as described and returned to the seller.
  • Partial refund where a defect is fixable and both parties agree to a price adjustment.
  • No refund where issues were disclosed or occurred after collection.

4. How refunds are paid

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank processing times may add 5–10 business days to when funds appear.

5. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
